Faxi Waterfall
Faxi, also known as Vatnsleysufoss, is a broad waterfall on the Tungufljót River, a short detour from the main Golden Circle route. The waterfall stretches across the river in a wide, low cascade, with open viewpoints providing a clear view of the falls and surrounding countryside. Smaller and less dramatic than Gullfoss, Faxi is an easy stop that can be explored without a long walk.
