A Family Stop on the Golden Circle
Slakki has been welcoming families in Laugarás since the early 1990s and combines a small petting zoo with activities designed primarily for younger visitors. The animal collection includes familiar farm animals as well as smaller domestic animals, birds, and Arctic foxes.
The location also makes Slakki easy to include without a major detour. Skálholt, Friðheimar and Laugarás Lagoon are nearby, while Geysir is approximately 20 minutes away by car.
