We pick you up from your accommodation in Reykjavík to begin your afternoon on the Golden Circle.
Your first stop is Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where Iceland’s history and geology meet. Walk between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates and visit the site of the world’s oldest parliament, founded in 930 AD.
Next, you visit the active geothermal field at Geysir. Here, you witness bubbling hot springs and watch Strokkur erupt every few minutes, sending hot water high into the air.
