After snorkeling in Silfra and sightseeing Þingvellir National Park, we continue along the famous Golden Circle route to visit the Geysir Geothermal Area, home to erupting hot springs and dramatic geothermal activity. From there, we travel to the majestic Gullfoss Waterfall, one of Iceland’s most powerful and impressive natural landmarks.

The day concludes with a relaxing late lunch at Friðheimar Greenhouse, where you will enjoy freshly prepared tomato-based dishes in a unique geothermal greenhouse setting.

How does pick up work?

Pickup and drop-off are included from selected locations in Reykjavík. Due to city center restrictions, some pickups take place at nearby designated bus stops.

Do I need previous snorkeling or diving experience?

No prior experience is required. Silfra is suitable for all skill levels, and full instruction is provided before entering the water.

What is the mininum and maximum group size for this tour?

Mininum size for this group is 2 and maximum size is 12. Maximum participants for each guide per snorkeling activity is 6.

What is the difference between a wetsuit and a drysuit?

A wetsuit allows a small amount of water inside that is warmed by your body, while a drysuit keeps you completely dry and insulated. A drysuit offers better warmth and comfort and is recommended for most participants. A wetsuit may be preferred by confident swimmers who are comfortable in cold water, want greater flexibility, or do not meet the size requirements for a drysuit.

What are the requirements for drysuit snorkeling?

• To participate in drysuit snorkeling, you must:
• Be comfortable in water and able to swim
• Be physically fit
• Be at least 150 cm (4’9”) and no taller than 200 cm (6’7”)
• Weigh between 50 kg (99 lbs) and 120 kg (264 lbs)
• Be at least 12 years old
• Not be pregnant
• Have no medical conditions that restrict participation
• Have read and signed the Silfra Medical Statement
• Sign a liability waiver before the tour
• Be prepared to wear a snug-fitting drysuit
• Glasses are not allowed under the mask. If needed, please bring contact lenses or a prescription mask.

Is the tour suitable for children?

Children from 12 years old can join this tour as long as they are physcally fit or do not have any medical conditions that prevent them from participating.

Do you offer guiding in other languages?

This tour is currently operated in English only.

What is your cancellation policy?

• The client reserves the right to cancel a tour at any time. A 90% refund is issued if cancellation is received more then 48 hours prior to the start time of the tour.
• Cancellations made with less then 48 hour notice are non-refundable.
