Meet your guide at Þingvellir National Park and receive all necessary equipment and safety instructions before entering the crystal-clear waters of the Silfra fissure. Snorkel between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates and enjoy exceptional underwater visibility in one of Iceland’s most unique natural sites.
Before or after the snorkeling tour, participants are welcome to explore Þingvellir National Park at their own pace. Walking trails, scenic viewpoints, and historic landmarks allow guests to experience the area’s geological and cultural significance independently.

No prior experience is required. Silfra is suitable for all skill levels, and full instruction is provided before entering the water.
Minimum size for this group is 2. Maximum participants for each guide per snorkeling activity is 6.
A wetsuit allows a small amount of water inside that is warmed by your body, while a drysuit keeps you completely dry and insulated. A drysuit offers better warmth and comfort and is recommended for most participants. A wetsuit may be preferred by confident swimmers who are comfortable in cold water, want greater flexibility, or do not meet the size requirements for a drysuit.
• To participate in drysuit snorkeling, you must: • Be comfortable in water and able to swim • Be physically fit • Be at least 150 cm (4’9”) and no taller than 200 cm (6’7”) • Weigh between 50 kg (99 lbs) and 120 kg (264 lbs) • Be at least 12 years old • Not be pregnant • Have no medical conditions that restrict participation • Have read and signed the Silfra Medical Statement • Sign a liability waiver before the tour • Be prepared to wear a snug-fitting drysuit • Glasses are not allowed under the mask. If needed, please bring contact lenses or a prescription mask.
Children from 12 years old can join this tour as long as they are physically fit or do not have any medical conditions that prevent them from participating.
